HS Wrestling Team's Bus Involved in Crash, Multiple People Ejected From Vehicle

A bus in Colorado carrying a high school wrestling team was involved in a crash that injured several people while returning from a tournament. 

Lakewood Police officers were called to the scene of the crash around 7:33 p.m. Saturday, confirming that multiple people were ejected from the bus. 

According to ABC 2, everyone on the bus, including students and coaches, were taken to nearby hospitals and there were "multiple serious bodily injuries." 

Mesa County Valley School District 51 confirmed that there were 13 students and two coaches from Central High School on the bus when the crash happened. 

As of Sunday evening, three students and one coach were still hospitalized. 

Officials said the team was returning from a tournament when the crash happened.
