A local gym in Huntington Beach, Calif., is seeking the public’s help after its trailer full of gym equipment was stolen last weekend.

According to KTLA 5, HB Fight Club is a fitness facility offering programming and workout space for fitness enthusiasts as well as adaptive athletes. HB Fight Club teaches cardio kickboxing, strength and conditioning, Muay Thai and boxing, and also unique programming for seniors and special needs athletes. The gym’s most popular program, Rock Steady Boxing, focuses on exercises for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and it offers several movement therapy classes.

The non-profit gym’s owner, John Mercurio, says HB Fight Club uses the 16-foot trailer for community outreach programs, including events at high schools, senior centers and sober living facilities.

Surveillance footage from HB Fight Club shows two figures approaching the trailer, backing up a pickup truck, attaching the hitch to the trailer and driving away with it. Mercurio and local authorities have asked anyone who recognizes the individuals to come forward with information.

“It’s hard to miss,” said Mercurio when describing the large, white trailer.

If the trailer can not be located, Mercurio started a GoFundMe in order to replace the gym equipment inside the trailer as well as the trailer itself. The goal is to raise $11,000.
