When a Planet Fitness employee in Cheltenham Township, Pa., informed a gymgoer that his membership would be revoked and he would be banned from the facility, that gymgoer responded by stabbing the employee several times.
According to Fox News, police responded to the scene at 12:30pm on Thursday, and found the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The assailant, identified as Davier Massey, was arrested nearby.
Massey is charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and possession of an instrument of crime.
“I can’t believe this. I feel like I’m in a dream right now,” one gym-goer told FOX29 Philadelphia. “It’s a little shocking for something to happen right here,”
