Completed in 2021, the Southern Regional Aquatic Wellness Center addition meets the goals of providing the local community with a mixture of pools and water temperatures for aquatic activity and water therapy. In addition, innovative and efficient design met the project’s sustainability goals, resulting in LEED Silver certification.

The new facility features a reception area and three bodies of water: a 1,500-square-foot therapeutic pool, a 2,250-square-foot leisure pool with 70-foot lap lanes, and a 150-square-foot spa. The facility also boasts a large viewing area, a wet/dry multipurpose room, two family changing areas, large locker/restrooms, staff offices, a vending area, and complementing support facilities.
