The 51.5-meter-by-25-yard competitive swimming pool at Edgewood High School serves the high school programs at both Edgewood and West Covina. The swimming pool is located near Edgewood’s athletic core, which includes the track and field, football field and tennis courts. Design elements and images that celebrate all types of athletics are visible throughout the facility, and the color blue is heavily utilized, inspired by the vibrant blue of the pool water.

At 12,869 square feet, the prefabricated Myrtha swimming pool accommodates 18 25-yard lanes or 10 50-meter lanes. The swimming pool serves as an ideal location for competitions in high school swimming and water polo. It also accommodates educational and community-based programming such as physical education, athletic training and learn-to-swim programs in its 2,100 square feet of shallow water. In addition to the expansive swimming pool, the facility boasts more than 9,000 square feet of shade canopies with ample spectator seating below.

To support sustainability and energy-saving goals, thermal solar panels were installed on the shade canopies to heat the swimming pool. Generous decks, a sports-themed entry plaza and nearby modern locker rooms provide additional amenities that support competitive and community events of various types and sizes.
