Three UCLA basketball players have been released on bail after being caught shoplifting in Hangzhou, China.

LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, all freshmen, were questioned at their hotel in Hangzhou, while the rest of the team travelled to Shanghai for the Bruins’ season opener against Georgia Tech. The three players are required to stay at their hotel until the legal process has been completed, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.

ESPN reports that the players stole “unspecified merchandise” from a Louis Vuitton store near their hotel.

UCLA said in a statement that it is cooperating fully with the local authorities but did not comment further on the matter.
