In Waco, Texas, the brand new Foster Pavilion has hosted its first basketball game this month. The $212 million facility replaces Baylor University's Ferrell Center.
The 7,000-seat arena offers standing-room space for about 500 more spectators. Foster Pavilion opened the first week of January, which was 20 months after construction began in May 2022. [The Associated Press]
