The Texas Tech baseball program in Lubbock, Texas, unveiled in December a brand-new state-of-the-art Red Raiders baseball team facility.
The more than 25,000-square-foot facility includes a new team lobby, coaches' offices, locker room, training room with an underwater treadmill and cryotherapy station as well as new cages, a team lounge and a video analytics room.
Plans for the new facility were announced in May 2021 and construction began during the summer of 2022.
The facility was funded through philanthropic gifts and is part of the ongoing Campaign for Fearless Champions, which has helped transform Texas Tech's facilities. [Texas Tech University]

A high school in Chula Vista, Calif. will soon begin work on a state-of-the-art football stadium complex.
Castle Park High School — part of the Sweetwater Union High School District — announced last month that crews expect to break ground on the new facility for the Trojans in June.
A school spokeswoman said the project should take about 18 months to complete.
The $42 million project will be financed through bonds. [KFMB-TV]
