Murray State University in Murray, Ky., announced Tuesday a significant renovation to the men's basketball locker room and team spaces, a project that will have a major impact on current and future Racer student-athletes.
One of the most noticeable changes will be to the student-athlete lockers, which will receive a facelift that will include new pads and branding. The flooring throughout the space will be totally redone and will showcase a large Racer logo that will be mirrored by a backlit ceiling logo to fill out the room.

The Hutchinson (Kan.) Catholic school community broke ground Jan. 4 on a new gymnasium. The second gymnasium will open the school to more grade school and community activities.
To fund the project, the school has $1.4 million in the bank and $855,000 in donor pledges toward the $2.3 million goal.
Wiens & Company of Hutchinson is the general contractor for the project.
