A 36-year-old mother of four died this week while exercising on a treadmill at an LA Fitness location in Kent, Wash.
According to the KIRO, Delrie Rosario fell and hit her head on a treadmill, fell unconscious and later died at the hospital.
"All we were doing was working out," Rosario's sister, Marissa Woods, said.
Woods said that immediately after the accident, she called for help and asked if anyone knew CPR.
“I was screaming, you know, ‘anybody, just please help! Anybody know how to do CPR?” recalled Woods.
Woods said other gym-goers jumped in to help, but employees at the center didn't.
“Not one worker,” said Woods. “I think they were in shock.”
KIRO said LA Fitness declined to comment on the incident.
