Athletic fields at a West St. Paul, Minn., sports complex were dealt at least $4,000 worth of damage by vandals on a joyride.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that a vehicle was driven onto the baseball and soccer fields at the sports complex, and did doughnuts that left behind ruts.
The damage comes in the wake of a similar incident that took place in nearby Hastings, Minn., when two adults were each charged with criminal damage to property after allegedly driving onto soccer fields at Veterans Athletic Complex in late March. Their joyride left behind ruts that were reportedly eight to 10 inches deep, and the damage was estimated at $137,000.
