The Buffalo Bills are paying fans $20 an hour to help remove snow from their stadium ahead of today's playoff game against Pittsburgh.

So important are the shovelers to the staging of this game, which had already been moved from Sunday to Monday as Buffalo was buried in a snowstorm, that New York governor Kathy Hochul's travel ban in Erie County was lifted solely for the individuals willing to do the job, NBC Sports reported.

A specific exception has been issued “[i]n order to ensure the safety of the public at Highmark Stadium” by clearing the multiple feet of snow that has been accumulated."

Te Bills have re-issued the plea for snow shovelers, with the process beginning at midnight. The crew is limited to 200.

In addition to an hourly wage, shovelers were offered complimentary beverages and breakfast as they were expect4ed to work well into Monday monrning..

The Buffalo area has been under a winter storm advisory since Thursday.  Monday's forecast calls for a low temperature of 14 degrees, wind chills as low as -5 degrees and snowfall of up to half an inch, according to the Nationall Weather Service.

Game time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET.
