Cascade officials will advertise for bids beginning in January for two possible approaches to repairing the tennis courts in Community Park.

The first proposed project includes an asphalt overlay of the court, painting and striping of the court to include pickleball, making repairs to the existing fence, adding a mid-rail, adding a 4-foot fence down the middle of the court and removing and re-installing posts and the frame.

The estimates for repairs range from $42,515 to $49,965, depending on whether a gravel layer is placed between the old and new asphalt.

The second proposal involves a high-pressure washing of the court, bump grinding of the joints, repairing the cracks and painting and striping the court and replacing the fence. The estimate for this proposal is $52,152.
