Officials in Omaha say the city's Metro Transit will not be able to offer its Stadium Circulator for The College World Series, in part due to a shortage of bus drivers.

"We, like many other transit agencies, have been struggling with a driver shortage. We very recently had to make some service changes that cut some of the frequencies on two of our routes," Nicole Ebat, Metro Transit's senior manager of Communications and Community Relations, told KETV

Ebat said the city will have alternatives for fans hoping to attend the event at Charles Schwab Field.

"We do have three other routes that already on their regular schedule and on their regular routes go around and about the stadium, through downtown and beyond,” Ebat said.

ORBT ,along with Metro Routes 4 and 13, will follow their regular schedule on most days.

"ORBT is going to be continuing its regular route, 10 minutes most of the day, 20 minutes later into the evening," Ebat said.
