River Trails Park District has a new way to get outside and play. 2play Sports, the Austin-based public health startup known for its self-serve Sports Kiosks, has installed its newest and most advanced unit yet at River Trails, giving Mount Prospect visitors on-demand access to tennis rackets, basketballs, and other gear right when they need it. Scan a QR code, unlock a locker, and start playing. No app, no account, no hassle. When done, scan again to return the gear and lock it back up.

"River Trails is exactly the kind of community we built this for," said Drew Beathard, founder and CEO. "We want every court to be play ready the moment someone shows up." The installation is part of 2play's continued push to activate parks and public spaces nationwide with weather-resistant, low-maintenance kiosks that hold everything from basketballs and soccer balls to frisbees and rackets.
