Latrelle Lee, the now former linebacker from Tennessee State who was kicked off the football team and expelled from school after video emerged of him punching one of his coaches, is now in even deeper trouble.
Yahoo reports that Lee has now been arrested and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. He was booked on Monday night, and posted bail.
From AB: TSU Player Expelled After Striking Coach on Sideline
T.J. Greenstone, the coach Lee was caught on tape assaulting, has reportedly been dealing with “medical difficulties” since being punched.
Just before Lee unleashed his flurry of punches, Greenstone, a strength coach, was telling players and coaches to move back from the sideline. Teams that encroach on the playing field can be penalized, and many strength coaches are tasked with keeping those areas clear.
