Welcome to Fundraising Friday, AB Today's weekly digest of recent developments in development.

Penn State Athletics has announced receipt of a $5 million gift from 1972 PSU graduate Bob Poole and wife Sandy toward the West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium Revitalization project. The renovation plan aims to modernize the facility while making it a year-round venue. In addition, the West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium Revitalization project will provide increased revenue benefiting all 31 sports programs at University Park and foster economic growth in the region. All gifts will be recognized inside or outside of the stadium upon the renovation's completion, Tuesday's announcement stated.

Marshall University director of athletics Gerald Harrison announced July 2 that Stephen and Amy New have made a $1 million pledge to Marshall Athletics. The gift, combined with the efforts of State Electric Supply and Dixon Electric, helped finalize the installation of new stadium lighting in Joan C. Edwards Stadium, which enhances an elite experience for all who experience games at "The Joan." Joan C. Edwards Stadium's new lights will be unveiled Sept. 12 at the 2026 home opener against Middle Tennessee State University.
