Former Wisconsin Youth Soccer Treasurer Charged With Stealing $264K From Club

The treasurer of a Wisconsin youth soccer club has been charged with embezzling more than $264,000 since 2019. 

Michael J. Vega, former treasurer for the McFarland Soccer Club, has been charged with six counts of theft for taking money from the business in various ways — through PayPal payments, ATM withdraws, Venmo transfers, and the writing of checks.
