Is this new technology giving off good vibrations, or is it on shaky ground?

Trends in the fitness industry come and go, and it's often difficult to know which will last, and which will benefit your facility and its members. While no one knows for sure, some trends are definitely worth looking into, as they have either been tested and proven in other industries (such as professional athletes), or because you, as a seasoned facility manager, have the feeling that this could be the next big thing. Whole body vibration (WBV) is one such trend, with celebrities and athletes touting its benefits. However, as with all trends, there are pros and cons to jumping aboard this bandwagon.
