Facility Friday: Randolph College, High School Projects

Randolph College in Lynchburg, Va., recently unveiled its renovated Michels Athletic Center. The $5 million project includes an upgraded entry, a new fitness center/weight room, a new aerobics room, team locker rooms, athletic training areas and coaches offices. — randolphcollege.edu

Bradenton Christian School completed a $19 million sports complex called the Pentecost Athletic Center. The 65,000-square-foot facility features several basketball and volleyball courts, wrestling space,a multipurpose field for soccer and football and a weight room. — Bradenton.com  

 
Edison (Ohio) High School recently got approval from the Board of Education to add baseball and softball fields to campus. Both facilities will have synthetic turf and lights, and are expected to be ready for play by spring of 2022. In addition, the school approved Hively Construction to oversee construction of a $6.44 million fieldhouse project that will include a new gymnasium, concessions facilities and locker rooms. — Herald-Star
 
The O’Brien Fitness Center in South Bend, Ind., is undergoing a renovation. Upgrades include new locker room space, 1,500-square-feet of additional programming space, a revamped front desk and new flooring. The project is expected to be completed in May. — 953mnc.com
