The letter suggested that the school has a moral and legal obligation under Title IX to provide high-quality facilities to these programs, and that their projected total cost would be approximately $30 million. Improvements coming to the softball facility include flipping the field’s orientation and enlarging the facility. It will see expanded seating, covered batting cages, locker rooms, a video board, field lighting and an elevated press box.
