The Syracuse Mets have added new hospitality options to NBT Bank Stadium to enhance the fan experience.

The Piazza Rooftop Lounge is on the third-base side of the stadium on the upper level. The new lounge is an outdoor hospitality area sold to private groups that features a relaxed setting, a lighted pergola, outdoor furniture, games, and a modern food menu that includes charcuterie-type food and other elevated finger foods.

The Seaver Suite is a new indoor hospitality area created by combining two existing suites into one larger suite that has 36 outdoor seats and can fit groups of 35-40 people indoors. The Seaver Suite serves as another indoor space for larger parties. This suite will have a special food menu and access to the Suite Spot bar.

The Seaver Suite will be sold to private groups and include tickets and parking.

NBT Bank Stadium is a 11,071-seat venue, owned and operated by Onondaga County, that opened April 10, 1997. It has served as home to Syracuse’s professional baseball teams since 1934.

A donor gift of money will help support the construction of a new softball stadium at Northwestern University.

Northwestern University’s Big Ten Champion softball program received a $5 million gift from Northwestern trustee and former student-athlete Harreld N. “Kip” Kirkpatrick III. The stadium will be named for Kip and his wife, Sara.

The project will create spaces for student-athletes, increase the stadium’s seating capacity and elevate the fan experience.

Construction is expected to begin in 2025, with completion anticipated by spring 2026.

The softball team will continue playing home games on the current field during construction.
