WCU Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Stadium Upgrades
Western Carolina University (WCU) held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, June 12, to mark the first phase of planned upgrades for E.J. Whitmire Stadium and other facilities.
WCU said some of the upgrades will include a new press box, coaches' offices, player study space and a hospitality area dubbed "the Western Skybox."

The light at the end of the project's tunnel is approaching as long as the Regents approve the project this week.
