Bryant University Opens 43K-Square-Foot Navigant Credit Union Field House
The state-of-the-art, 43,000-square-foot Navigant Credit Union Field House will build upon Bryant’s reputation as a leader in athletic achievement and a first-rate destination for the nation’s most passionate fans.
Adjacent to David M. ’85 and Terry Beirne Stadium and Conaty Park, the Navigant Credit Union Field House is a comprehensive hub designed to empower Bryant student-athletes to achieve peak performance. It offers premier facilities for training, recovery, and wellness, along with enhanced locker rooms and an innovative media strategy room.
Nims Middle School Cuts Ribbon on New Athletics Facility
The Nims (Fla.) Middle School Trojans have a brand-new athletic facility to boast about which will be open to students starting March 24. It represents the fulfillment of a promise Superintendent Rocky Hanna made 10 years ago.
"These kids deserve the same quality of facilities that other kids in other parts of our district have, and today is a proud moment for me, our school board members, and most importantly, a proud moment for the students that walk these halls each and every day," Hanna told the Tallahassee Democrat during a ribbon cutting for the school's new gym March 13.
The Trojans cheer squad pumped up the crowd of district officials with bellowing voices that echoed in the acoustics in the gymnasium, giving visitors a hint of what's to come at future sports events and pep rallies.
SPORTIME Pickleball Announces Opening of New Dedicated Indoor Pickleball Club in Armonk, N.Y.
SPORTIME Pickleball, a division of SPORTIME Clubs and the Tri-state area’s fastest-growing and most innovative pickleball club operator and programmer, today announced the grand opening of SPORTIME Pickleball Armonk, located at 112 Business Park Drive, scheduled for Sunday, March 15th. SPORTIME Pickleball’s newly constructed facility expands SPORTIME’s Westchester footprint to 27 dedicated indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, including the recently opened SPORTIME Pickleball Yorktown, along with existing tennis and pickleball locations in Mamaroneck and Eastchester, further establishing SPORTIME as the region’s leading pickleball provider.
The new Armonk facility will feature 11 dedicated, climate-controlled, indoor courts offering year-round play and instruction, courtside viewing, modern player facilities, and two party rooms for member and community events.
