Toyota Center Releases New Renderings of Renovation 

The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and Clutch City Sports & Entertainment has announced Toyota Center Reimagined, a transformation of Toyota Center designed to elevate the fan experience and further positions downtown Houston as a premier destination for sports, entertainment, and major events.

Auburn Board Votes on Jordan Hare End Zone Renovation Project 

Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium north end zone renovation project is now seeking final approval.

The project, which was initiated in September 2024, will add a multi-purpose event center to the north end zone of Jordan-Hare Stadium. A vote for the project’s final approval will take place at the Auburn Board of Trustees’ April 17 meeting.

It’s the second major project to that side of the stadium in recent years after Auburn added a second video board to the north end zone in 2025.

Freeport High School Getting New Athletics Facility 

On Tuesday, the Walton County school board approved building a new athletic complex for Freeport High School.

It will be a new multi-purpose field house, able to support female and male sports, with a new concession stand and brand-new fields.

There will be new stadium seating, new LED lighting, new turf, and a new softball complex.

Officials say the softball complex will be ready by January 2027, and the stadium will be completed in May of next year.
