West Palm Beach Lands Luxury Padel Facility
West Palm Beach is officially landing one of its most distinctive new wellness and sport concepts. DUS Padel, a 26,000-square-foot indoor padel club, is taking shape just off I-95 — built by a team of Palm Beach County locals.
The 26,000-square-foot facility will be anchored by five indoor padel courts, fully weather-protected for year-round play in South Florida. Beyond the courts, the program will include an organic café with coffee, matcha, smoothies, and juices, a curated retail and wellness lounge, men's and women's locker rooms with saunas, cold plunges, and recovery amenities, and the first official NOX Pro Shop in the United States. The club is located at 2031 Okeechobee Blvd, easily accessible from Palm Beach, downtown West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, and Boca Raton.
Where DUS departs from the standard court-rental model is in its hospitality-driven club philosophy. Every part of the visit is being intentionally curated — from check-in and court play to recovery, food and beverage, retail, events, and community programming. The intent is for the club to function as a true third place between home and the office: somewhere members and guests can play, work, recover, meet friends, attend events, or simply spend time.
New Mountain Home Community Center Opens
Year round access to climate controlled conditions for walkers, pickle ball, volleyball and basketball players are now available at the recently opened Mountain Home Community Center (MHCC).
The gymnasium building features three basketball courts which can accommodate up to nine pickle ball courts. Above the gym is an indoor walking track with views of the outdoor pool area, artwork and a comfortable surface for running and walking.
The space will also host large events with a carpet system that can be rolled out to cover the hardwood. The area can accommodate up to 1000 guests for large events like the Baxter Health Fair being planned for this fall to use the new location. A full size kitchen and men’s and women’s locker rooms are also in wing of the community center.
Aston University Unveils New Padel Facility
Aston University is to unveil a new facility showcasing one of the fastest-growing sports in the world at a special community launch event.
The event – on 11 and 12 June – will see the Padel Loft Aston launch with three brand new glass-walled courts on the Aston campus.
The courts will provide students, staff and the public with access to the city’s most centrally located facility for the rapidly expanding sport.
Located in the centre of the university campus and just a 10-minute walk from New Street Station the facility will also serve the wider local community.
Aston University said: “Run by the Padel Loft, it’s set to be the city’s most central place to play. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already play regularly, padel is fast, social and easy to pick up.
