Tepper Sports and Entertainment Offers New Renderings of Panthers' Stadium
Tepper Sports and Entertainment has given Charlotte a glimpse of what Bank of America Stadium will look like once the uptown venue is fully renovated. The company announced a hefty financial commitment, too.
Thursday, TSE shared its plans to increase its private investment in the Bank of America Stadium renovation project — from $150 million to $650 million, all of which will go toward immediate refurbishments. That $500 million increase matches the city’s contribution to the stadium renovations, and it ultimately brings the expense of the project to approximately $1.3 billion.
Bengals Offer First Look at Paycor Stadium Renovations
Improvements to Paycor Stadium continue with major upgrades for the 2026 season.
While recent years have seen ongoing upgrades to public spaces including concession stands and video displays, this year's improvements will be the most extensive since Paycor Stadium opened in 2000.
The new lease signed last year between Hamilton County and the Bengals launched significant upgrades that will span several years, and "Phase One" of the multi-year renovation project will be substantially complete ahead of Cincinnati Music Festival and the Bengals' 2026 season.
Phase One renovations have exceeded expectations, and Paycor Stadium is positioned well for future improvements. Phase One projects prioritized work that will have a wide impact, benefiting fans throughout the stadium. Key improvements include renovated restrooms, upgraded concessions, transformed club lounges, reimagined suites, a redesigned Bengals Pro Shop, modernized scoreboard control room, improved wayfinding, and core infrastructure improvements. Warm Construction, an Official Builder of the Cincinnati Bengals, executed many of the renovation projects including concessions, club lounges, suites, and the Bengals Pro Shop.
Azusa Pacific University Offers Update on Stadium Renovations
APU is replacing Cougar Stadium’s current grass field with a FieldTurf Vertex CORE system, an elite synthetic turf platform which will allow the university to maximize the usage of the field for many years. “In the past, the grass field needed periods of extended time to be restored,” said Don Davis ’89, MBA ’94, EdD, associate vice president for Facilities Management and Real Estate Development. “Now that we have football back and women’s flag football starting, in addition to track and field, there really won’t be extended periods of unutilized time for the grass to restore, so the turf allows us to provide the best experiences for all of our athletes.”
Hundreds of APU student athletes will benefit from the new turf field, with a better surface to practice and play on as they compete for championships each year. For junior linebacker Anis Jedidiah Gbaja-Biamila ’28, this elite new surface brings a heightened sense of purpose. “This stadium represents a new era of APU football, and these renovations almost feel like a responsibility for us,” Gbaja-Biamila said.
