USC Unveils New Football Performance Center
Less than two years after breaking ground, USC unveiled the Bloom Football Performance Center on Aug. 5, opening a state-of-the-art home for Trojan football where the program's storied tradition meets the sport’s future.
The Trojan football facility is the crown jewel of USC’s Athletics West capital project and allows for the John McKay Center to be reimagined to benefit the entire student-athlete population from all 23 sports.
Spanning more than 160,000 square feet, the Bloom Football Performance Center features two full-length football fields, natural grass and artificial turf, alongside a three-story facility with spaces curated to develop student-athletes, foster team culture and provide USC Football with every resource needed to compete for championships.
“This building is magical,” said USC head coach Lincoln Riley. “To come in here for the first time was powerful. It's a significant step for our program.”
The lobby of the Bloom Football Performance Center was intentionally designed as a welcoming public space for the Trojan Family. Each day, it invites fans inside to experience the rich history of USC Football.
Billings ISD Finishes $5M Renovation of Sam McDonald Stadium at Daylis
A state-of-the-art athletic facility is ready to welcome hundreds of athletes to Billings after a sweeping renovation transformed Daylis Stadium into the Sam McDonald Stadium at Daylis.
The nearly $15 million project came together through a partnership between Billings School District 2 and the community.
"This is a true 50-50 public-private partnership where we are trying to raise $7.25 million to be coupled with roughly the exact same amount coming from the school district and taxpayer funds," Chase Rose, campaign manager for the Bannack Group, said Wednesday.
The build required significant labor, with crews putting in long days throughout construction.
