Michigan-based fitness chain Powerhouse Gym will soon open its largest location at 120,000 square feet in Metro Detroit.
As reported by mlive.com, Powerhouse is currently renovating a space formerly occupied by Carson’s at the open-air regional shopping center known as The Mall at Partridge Creek in Macomb County's Clinton Township. Plans are to open the facility sometime in the first quarter of 2025.
According to mlive.com's Edward Pevos, members can expect amenities such as a swimming pool, a basketball court, yoga, cycling, a dry sauna, s track, a spin room with nightclub-style lighting, personal trainers and fitness classes for all ages.
“As a lifestyle center, The Mall at Partridge Creek offers an ideal setting to bring the newest and now the best Powerhouse experience to new audiences looking for serious results, regardless of their fitness level,” said William Dabish, co-founder of Powerhouse Gym, which has been in business for 49 years. “Our vision is to make the Partridge Creek gym the crown jewel of all Powerhouse Gym locations, offering the community the best suite of services and amenities as we motivate them to achieve their fitness goals.”
The largest Powerhouse club in the world will also feature Panatta equipment imported from Italy, as well as Life Fitness, Matrix, Freemotion, Core and Precor gear. The gym will also offer the largest free weight area in the country.
