The New Orleans Saints revealed the new team locker room at Caesars Superdome over the weekend.
Like many of this summer’s locker room renovations, the Saints’ new digs include personalized lockers with storage compartments and all the features they need to be ready for the big game. The locker area is decorated with a massive, light-up Saints logo on the ceiling, and the whole space can be transformed into a party atmosphere with strobes and LED strips. From videos shared online, the new locker room could just as easily be a dance club as it is a space for team meetings.
Beyond the basic lockers, the Saints also have updated recovery and training rooms. As shown on X, there is a new pool, several beds and seats in the athletic training space and fresh, updated surfaces at every turn
Every inch of the space is branded with the Saints’ signature fleur-de-lis. Black and yellow are the predominant colors throughout the ambiently lit rooms.
The last time the Saints locker room got an update was 2018, and locker room styles and technology have come a long way in five, short years. This summer, many professional and college teams have used the off-season as time to revamp their locker rooms. Other programs including the Cincinnati Bengals, University of Iowa, Oklahoma University and the Duke University.
This locker room renovation, along with many other projects underway at Caesars Superdome are all leading up to Super Bowl 59, which the stadium will host in 2025. Within the past year, the Saints also updated their weight room and the dinning spaces.
The Saints kick off their season on September 8. The home game against the Carolina Panthers will be the first chance for the team to come together in their newly renovated locker room.
