The Cincinnati Bengals revealed their new locker room today. The space is decked out in orange and black, and it is now up to date with the modern amenities players expect in their space.
In this summer of locker room renovations, the Bengals are just the latest to revamp the player-oriented space. Fans have already seen impressive updates from the University of Iowa, Duke University and Oklahoma University just to name a few.
Players enter the locker room to a massive, tiger-stripped ‘B’ on the wall. A lighted, color-changing ceiling glows orange in the Bengal’s video posted to X. Beyond the lighting, there is so much technology in this space.
There is a big open room with personalized lockers. The lockers have nameplates, tons of storage and mini refrigerators at the end of each row. Players can charge practically any device in the lockers. There are even drying fans installed in the lockers to reduce the sweat and smell from helmets and clothes.
"It's sick," said Burrow when he got a sneak peek last week. "The more we continue to invest in stuff like this, the more comfortable the players are going to be. We're going to love coming into work. I'm really happy with it. It's quite an upgrade. Credit to ownership for putting this all together."
The new locker room is home to tons of Bengals Easter eggs too. For example, the lockers have “Who Dey Think Gonna Beat Them Bengals?” etched into the shelf. And, the year 1968 – the Bengals inaugural season- is written in discrete places, everywhere.
"It's amazing," said wide receiver Tee Higgins of his first look. "A lot more space. The lockers are nice. I think the guys will love it. They really outdid themselves. They took it to another level for sure."
With all of the new upgrades and technology, tradition is still present as the famous fight-song lyrics, “And win this game for Cincinnati,” is still written above the door.
