After fires destroyed a significant portion of Maui, Hawaii in 2023, hundreds of student-athletes and coaches were left without homes, let alone proper athletics facilities. Now, the Los Angeles Rams and Hollman Lockers have partnered to support some of those student-athletes and restore the Lahainaluna High School locker room.
According to Maui Now, both the boys’ and girls’ locker rooms at Lahainaluna High School will receive a full professional-grade renovation. The new locker rooms will include custom-built lockers with seating and storage. The space will be branded with inspirational graphics and a dedication to Lahaina’s strength throughout the deadly fires.

The Rams and Hollman Lockers anticipate the renovation to have a quick turnaround time. After unveiling the designs at a community celebration this week, the locker rooms are expected to be open by the end of July. The event coincided with the Rams’ minicamp in Maui, where fans could participate in on-field events and watch team activities.
“Mahalo to the LA Rams, Hollman Lockers, and Forty Nine Degrees for making this possible,” said Caroline Anderson, Interim president and CEO for the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority. “We are excited that Lahainaluna High School’s student-athletes will receive new locker rooms. This highlights the positive impact collaboration can have, with not only revitalizing the school’s facilities but also serving as an inspiration for the students to strive for success.”
The design concepts featured phrases like “We are one” and “I Mua Lahainaluna,” which will be highly present throughout the new locker room.
“This has been a passion project of our Rams’ partnership and creative teams who have worked alongside our partners in conjunction with coaches, student-athletes, and the broader Lahaina community to bring this vision to life,” said Molly Higgins, executive vice president of community impact and engagement for the Rams.
