Borrowing Plan OK'd for Mississippi State Ballpark

Mississippi State University trustees approved plans Thursday for the school to borrow up to $30 million to renovate and expand Dudy Noble Field-Polk DeMent Stadium.

The proposal, first unveiled in 2014, calls for a double-tiered grandstand, an elevated concourse encircling the playing field, new entry plazas, restrooms and concessions areas, a kids’ play area, berm seating and upgraded field lighting, according to PanStadia.
