Iowa State Plans 'CYTown' Mixed-Use Development Between Stadium, Arena

For roughly a decade now, professional sports venues have been reimagined as entertainment destinations within larger mixed-use civic districts, and now that concept is making its way to college campuses.

Iowa State University announced plans Monday for a $200 million retail, office and entertainment development called “CYTown” between Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum.

As reported by The Associated Press, the development will sit on a three-acre site north of the stadium and occupy a pregame party area now known as “Tent Row.”
