Austin Peay State University in Tennessee announced this week that it will be selling 1,200 parking spaces in 14 university lots for public parking during events at nearby F&M Bank Arena.
The school has released an online portal through which the parking spaces can be booked.
According to ClarksvilleNow, events on the site so far include Disney On Ice and the Justin Moore concert. A review of the prices shows most lots cost $20 per vehicle, with some costing $30 per vehicle.
Following purchase of their spot, visitors receive an email confirmation containing a parking pass with a barcode. Upon arrival at the event, a parking attendant will then scan the barcode and grant them access to the lot.
“We are excited to offer this convenient parking solution for visitors attending events at the F&M Bank Arena,” said Rasheda Smith, director of parking and transportation at APSU. “By purchasing parking in advance, attendees can focus on enjoying the event without worrying about finding a parking spot.”
