A protester who unfurled a banner from the rafters of U.S. Bank Stadium during a game last year has been sentenced to probation.

According to the Star Tribune, Karl S. Zimmerman (34), who was protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline, pleaded guilty in Hennepin County District Court to creating a public nuisance during a Vikings game against the Chicago Bears.

As part of a plea deal, the counts of trespassing and burglary were dismissed.

Zimmerman and Sen Holiday climbed over guard rails during the second quarter of the game to access a ladder that would allow them to climb up to a catwalk above the stadium. From there, they unfurled a large banner that bore the U.S. Bank logo and the words “Divest #NoDAPL.”

Protesters had charged that U.S. Bank had tens of millions of dollars in credit lines active with the pipeline’s parent company.
