Ecore Introduces New Woven Vinyl Collection with Launch of Ebb & Flow Motivate

Lancaster, PA (April 29, 2021) – Ecore, a manufacturer of safe, ergonomic, and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, announces the launch of its Woven Vinyl Collection with the introduction of two new high-performance surfaces: Ebb & Flow Motivate.

Built on the company’s proprietary itsTRUTM technology, Ebb & Flow Motivate feature two intricate 1mm woven vinyl wear layers fusion-bonded to a 5mm vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) base layer. Providing an optimal amount of force reduction and energy restitution, the new Ebb and Flow options provide premium visuals for fitness, office space and public environments while delivering safety, ergonomic, and acoustic benefits.

“What makes Ebb & Flow Motivate unique is that these are the first textured products Ecore has brought to market in the company’s 150-year history,” said Bo Barber, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Ecore. “The Woven Vinyl Collection’s woven surface layer, combined with the VCR Motivate backing, provides optimal performance and safety while offering truly unique textured visuals - interwoven vinyl strands.”

Both surfaces are available in six colors, with the Ebb series featuring a structured woven pattern and the Flow series featuring a complex woven pattern that creates an organic visual effect. Ideal for cardio, strength, free weight, retail, public and office space areas, Ebb & Flow Motivate is durable, quiet, and stain resistant.

Ebb & Flow Motivate is created using Ecore’s patented itsTRU™ technology, a manufacturing process that starts with rubber that is diverted from landfills and incineration and upcycled into VCR using a pressurized process that fusion bonds the VCR to virtually any flooring surface. This innovative technology develops and captures energy, so flooring surfaces can absorb force while returning usable energy back to the people using the surface.
