Former Ohio State receivers coach Zach Smith may have engaged in inappropriate behavior while on the job, and even while visiting the White House after the Buckeyes won a national title in 2014.

According to a report from Stadium, which says it received copies of Smith’s receipts and other documents, Smith had over $2,200 in sex toys, male apparel and photography equipment delivered to his offices at Ohio State while he was employed by the university.

Stadium also reported that Smith took pictures of his genitals in OSU offices and at the White House. The report alleges he also took pictures of an OSU staffer performing oral sex on him. Stadium said it would not publish any of the pictures it has obtained.

The Stadium report also details a text exchange between the story’s author, Brett McMurphy, and Smith’s lawyer, Brad Koffel, wherein Koffel refuses to answer McMurphy’s questions, accuses McMurphy of extortion and denies that the pictures are of Smith. An excerpt from that exchange went as follows:

McMurphy: You didn’t answer my questions? So you have nothing further?

Koffel: Not him except with his face. Gag gifts. The oral sex is not him.

McMurphy: Want to double check: White House picture with his tie and wedding ring that are visible from media photos of the event is not him?

Koffel: Nope

Smith’s wife, Courtney Smith, recently came forward saying she was physically abused by her husband while he was employed at Ohio State and that all of the coaches at the school knew of the abuse but did nothing to help. Head football coach Urban Meyer has been put on paid leave while the school investigates how much Meyer knew about Smith’s abuse.

Ohio State wrapped up its investigation into the matter yesterday and is expected to report its findings to the OSU Board of Trustees, at which time president Michael Drake will announce his decision on whether Meyer will be retained as head coach of the football team.
