
A former high school track coach at Mishicot High School in Wisconsin has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for producing child pornography during sexual assaults involving a student.
According to Fox 11 News, Ryan Schroeder was also placed on lifetime supervision buy the judge in the case.
According to the criminal complaint, the encounters between Schroeder and the student started around Aug. 1, 2023, and continued into 2025. The girl was 14 when the assaults began.

"Schroeder admitted he was having sexual intercourse with VICTIM 1 since 2023, continuously through 2025, and most recently at the end of March 2025. Schroeder admitted having sexual intercourse with VICTIM 1 over 50 separate times with VICTIM 1 from 2023-2025. Schroeder admitted to having sexual intercourse with VICTIM 1 inside of Mishicot High School over 10 times from 2023-2025."
Schroeder pleaded guilty in Brown County Court to one count of repeated sexual assault of a child, involving at least three incidents. Prosecutors dropped 18 other counts.
Schroeder was charged with producing child pornography after investigators discovered he had filmed an encounter with the child.
