The building will include a player nutrition area, academic support and media innovation spaces, studios, a meeting room with an auditorium and augmented reality walkthrough room, an expanded locker room, a technologically-driven equipment facility, a sports medicine facility and an enhanced training room.
The upcoming facility will be the latest in a series of enhancements over the past decade for Notre Dame football.

The NHL Dallas Stars and the Town of Northlake broke ground on a $45 million, 225,000-square-foot multipurpose athletic facility that will feature two NHL regulation sheets of ice and eight basketball courts that can be converted into 16 volleyball courts. The facility is funded through general obligation bonds and is expected to welcome an estimated 1.315 million visitors annually.
