The resumés are in, and now you have the daunting task of hiring the right person. This is one of the most important decisions you'll make as a manager. Finding someone with the right qualifications, the right fit for your company's philosophy and your members, and the right work ethic is a challenge. Hiring the wrong person can result in increased liability if something should go wrong, and in unhappy members if they are not treated appropriately. Hiring is also expensive, but firing can be more so. Screening and training is where you'll lay the foundation for your employees and your team.
