Locker room thefts are not a new concern for club owners, but the lengths to which two teenage boys went to gain locker room access at several Atlanta-area health clubs is unusual.
According to WXIA-TV, the individuals posed as women looking to join each club, then used a lock-picking tool called a "bump key" to open lockers and take members' car keys, credit cards and cash.

According to WXIA-TV, the individuals posed as women looking to join each club, then used a lock-picking tool called a "bump key" to open lockers and take members' car keys, credit cards and cash.
Police reports show two Planet Fitness locations, two LA Fitness locations and a Gold's Gym were all targeted. Police are currently searching for suspects Tarquinnious Mack, 17, and Dequavis Smith, 18.
Detectives said the pair were able to use some credit cards at various businesses before they were reported stolen. Police added some of the stolen vehicles were recovered in Atlanta.
One police report indicates gym workers saw what appeared to be three men wearing women’s wigs go into the women’s locker room and then the men’s locker room, but they didn't say anything because they did not want to appear "transphobic."
