GREENVILLE, IL, October 15, 2018 – Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado has selected Nevco to bring exciting new enhancements to Whalen Gymnasium, which includes a new Video Display and Scoring Solution.
Nevco will help deliver a new atmosphere to all 2,750 cheering fans with a brand new full color, 6mm LED Video Display and a 10’ full color 6mm LED Scorers Table. The video display, which will span over 9’H and 17’W, features over 387,000 vibrant pixels to engage fans from every angle. The 10’ LED scorers table allows Fort Lewis College to maximize their impact by bringing an additional 57,600 pixels to the Skyhawk’s courtside, offering them the ability to display advertising, graphics, virtual scoring, and more at the touch of a button. Hidden away from the fan’s eye, the video display and scorers table will be operated through Nevco’s proprietary Display Director™ Software, allowing the Skyhawks game-day operations to be easily managed through, one, universal operating system.
“We’re excited to be presented with the opportunity to help complete Fort Lewis’ vision for Whalen Gym,” said Eric Light, Nevco Director of Sales for Sports Video. “The new Nevco equipment will transform the facility and produce an exciting, elite game-day environment for players, fans, sponsors, and the surrounding community.”
