A shooting at a high school hockey game Monday afternoon at Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, R.I., left two victims dead, as well as the suspect, and at least three other people hospitalized.

According to the New York Post, the shooter is believed to be Robert Dorgan, the father of a student-athlete competing for North Providence High School, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Drogan shot his wife, children and a family friend in the stands.

Pawtucket police chief, Tina Goncalves, said one victim was found dead at the scene and the second victim killed died at the hospital. The condition of those admitted to the hospital is unknown.

Pawtucket mayor Donald Grebien called the shooting “tragic” but “an isolated incident.”

A video of the shooting from the livestream of the game shows play on the ice being interrupted by the sounds of rapid gunfire. Players and attendees can be seen scrambling for safety.

Witnesses reported a good samaritan stepping in to stop the gunfire and subdue the attacker.

Players from Coventry, East Providence and Saint Raphael Academy were all participating in the game.

Saint Raphael Academy said in a statement, “There was a horrific incident with an active shooter. We have been told none of our SRA family was injured,” according to WJAR.

All North Providence students are safe, the school’s superintendent said in a statement to WJAR.

Grebien released a statement following the shooting. "What happened here earlier today was a terrible tragedy and an act of senseless violence that we're all dealing with, we see all too often throughout our country. Family and friends were gathered today at a hockey game at Lynch Arena to celebrate the senior night, bringing together communities from across the state," said Grebien. "Instead, an act of senseless violence has taken the lives of two innocent victims, with the suspect taking his own life."
