Michigan State University recently completed renovations at the Breslin Student Events Center, home to the school’s men’s and women’s basketball teams. Georgia Tech University unveiled plans for Phase II of its Russ Chandler Baseball Stadium renovation project. Planned renovations include a new indoor training facility, an alumni locker room, new restrooms and concessions stands, and a concourse-level atrium, including a new team hall of fame. The University of Kansas’s indoor practice facility is set to begin construction next week. The $26 million project is part of an overall $300 million plan to renovate and improve football facilities, including an overhaul of Memorial Stadium. The new facility will be sited west of the stadium, covering part of what is currently a parking lot. Contractors will be on site next week to begin the project. —Source: Lawrence Journal-World
Northeastern State University in Oklahoma announced plans to begin a $300,000 renovation to the Doc Wadley Stadium Sports Medicine Center and Football Locker Room. Plans call for the facility to expand in size to about 2,000 square feet, and for new flooring, windows and locker room improvements.
