Ohio State freshman quarterback recruit Quinn Ewers won’t have to worry about money, whether he makes it to the NFL or not.
According to Yahoo Sports, Ewers has signed an NIL deal with GT Sports Marketing that is worth $1.4 million. GTSM specializes in autographs for athletes, and the deal spans three seasons.
Ewers was the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2022, but he bypassed his senior year of high school to enroll early at Ohio State. Ewers is from Texas, which does not allow athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness as part of state law.

Ewers may have been prompted to leave high school early by an offer from a local Kombucha company, which was on the table before he made his decision. Ewers has also signed adeal with a Columbus, Ohio-based car company.
In his first year at Ohio State, Ewers will likely ride the bench, as he’ll be working behind starting quarterback C.J. Stroud.
