The Clemson Athletic Department and its licensees this week launched a new line of official pickleball gear in response to the growing popularity of the game in the Clemson area.

According to a release posted to the athletic department's website, new paddles, shirts, jerseys, hats, water bottles and other apparel will be available in local stores and via the Official Clemson/Fanatics store online.

Additionally, a new official Tiger Pickleball logo will debut on several items.

While the NCAA does not yet sanction Pickleball as a varsity sport, Clemson boasts a growing club program of more than 1,000 members.

Licensees involved with the effort include: The Print House, Prosphere, Boundless Pickleball, Champion, ’47 Brand, Blue 84, Tervis, Team Golf, and many more! Fans can also visit local retailers like Tiger Town Graphics, Judge Keller’s, Tiger Sports Shop, Alumni Hall, Mr. Knickerbocker and more.

According to USA Pickleball, more than $300 million was invested nationwide into new facilities in 2023. Additionally, in the fall of 2024, eight new pickleball courts will be constructed at nearby Nettles Park, led by a $250,000 contribution from Clemson University in partnership with the City of Clemson.
