Fresno State this week announced plans to join a number of other campuses in a new joint initiative with Victory Snacks and NIL platform TheLinkU.

According to The Business Journal, the program supports student-athletes by offering school-branded snacks and beverages, then directing a portion of the revenue toward NIL efforts for that school.

Victory Snacks will produce everything from jerky and nuts to sodas, which will then be sold online and eventually rolled out to campus stores and events under the Victory Campus program.

Alabama, Florida Atlantic, Notre Dame and Oklahoma are also expected to sign on to the program.

โ€œOur goal is to create a sustainable revenue stream that supports student-athletes through everyday products,โ€ said Grant Cohen, chief growth officer at Victory Snacks, in a news release.

According to TheLinkU, the program is intended to help universities expand NIL funding opportunities while engaging with alumni and fans.

While no formal agreement has been announced between Fresno State and Victory Campus, updates are expected as the program expands later this year.
