Nearly two months after the termination of Oregon State University deputy athletic director Brent Blaylock, the Beavers announced that their partnership with Blueprint Sports is also ending. The effective date of termination was Dec. 8.

According to Sportico, Blueprint Sports is an NIL consulting firm that was contracted by the former deputy athletic director as a part of Oregon State’s overall approach to NIL. However, Blaylock came under scrutiny for the deal when it was revealed exactly how much money Oregon State would be giving Blueprint.

In the leaked documents, it is stated that Oregon State athletics would pay Blueprint an annual management fee of roughly $280,000 per year. On top of that, Blueprint would “retain 75% of the Net Direct Revenue earned above the fundraising target and below $1,150,000 for the Contract Year. BPSE retains 50% of the Net Direct Revenue at or above $1,150,000.”

Now, Blueprint will retain $280,000 as a part of the administrative fees already paid in the 2025-26 school year. The company will give Oregon State all of the net proceeds it collected from memberships and subscriptions it sold in 2025. That money will be allocated to the Beavers’ revenue-sharing accounts.

Along with terminating the contract with Blueprint Sports, the new arrangement also brings the end of the NIL Collective, Dam Nation. Blueprint Sports paid Oregon State to acquire the NIL collective when the partnership was originally established, so Dam Nation no longer has an affiliation with the university.

Speculation that the partnership between the Beavers and Blueprint Sports would be ending has circulated since Blaylock’s removal in October, but neither the university nor the company made a statement at that time. Blueprint Sports maintains several similar partnerships with other universities, including the University of Maryland.
